This photo displays one of my favorite perspectives of nature.
It sounds funny.
But I cannot help but be in awe of the complexity and beauty of the branches and leaves when I lie on my back and look up at the underside of trees.
As I have grown up, I have been taught to try to see things from a unique point of view, to approach problems, pieces of art, and life from an original or fresh look.
Upside-down is as good a view as any.
And in this particular instance, I’d argue that it is best.

I’m going to need to run away to somewhere like here very, very soon.

Someone tell me how I’m supposed to not shout every time I walk outdoors.

Molly has to suppress shouts….I’m having trouble not dancing and twirling in all of these wonderful colors.
If we gave into temptation, we could be a manic pair walking through North Campus together.
(On a side note, “The Manic Pair” would be a good great band name.)

Sometimes coffee shops play good music like this while I’m studying phonetics.

And sometimes it makes me happy thinking about chasing sunsets and climbing mountains and all the fun that comes and goes with summer time.

And sometimes I’m reminded that the fun is only beginning and that He promises so many more sunset-painted skies for me.

So I sit, drinking tea, studying things that get me excited to become a speech pathologist all while learning to trust in the One who’s blessed me beyond measure.

Because He promises to walk with me not just sometimes, but at all times.

“Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you, nor will I ever forsake you.’”

— Hebrews 13:5

Mhm.
What he said.

And my hands are full of the sticky sap from Your backyard Georgia pine

It’s the closest thing to You I’m gonna find.
